Not only summer, but also as a new years resolution, we manage our diets with low calorie recipe and low calorie food. There are three tips that I would love to share that we should remember when going on any diet.

First, have meals with vegetable and high protein based food.
The reason we care about our diet is that we should gain energy without feeling hunger. We all agree that feeling emptiness in our stomach is very uncomfortable and and can make many of us feel grumpy during the working day, hence the phrase “hangry”! However, for those trying to be healthy or loss weight, feeling hungry during the working day can lead to unhealthy snacking. So instead of going for those processed snacks in the break room, pack some simple raw veggies. vegetables and fruits contain high amount of water and even fibre. These make your body feel “full” faster, allowing you to suppress the feeling of hunger. Also pack foods high in protein. Protein takes longer to digest in the body, allowing to feel full faster and longer. Not only that, protein is excellent for weight loss as it supports healthy muscle repair and growth. Second, ditch carbon, and white foods!
I know this is the most impossible things to us, because there are so many fancy and delicious dished in this world. Fast foods, italian foods, breads, cookies, and cakes… countless foods are around us. But, all these foods contain carbon, and sweets which turn into fat that are not easily burned through exercise. I am not saying carbon is prohibited in our planned dishes, but trying to cut your carbon intake in half is the beginning to a healthy diet. You should remember that carbon is also a major nutrient to make energy but over intaking is not good for weight loss.
Third, drink a half of gallons of water a day.
More commonly then not, our bodies actually want water instead of food. It is easy to “think” you are hungry and want to eat when actually your just thirsty. Whenever you feel like snacking, instead try having a big glass of water. You might be surprised your desire to snack goes away after. Water supplies oxygen in our body to burn fat and synthesize protein as well. As we make our food mainly with protein, fat can disappeared and creating muscle!
