Hello Girls,

Well I am sure you want to put your very best face forward this summer. Therefore this article has some very great recommendations in terms of products you can choose to adopt in order to sublime the effects of the summer months and make that beach visit a happy memory for you to cherish.

We would be sharing with you information of the effects of summer to facial skin. The article would also talk of tips and advice to maintain healthy facial skin during the summer months.

Effects of summer on Skin:

Although the summer break does give us the license to have a good time, go down to the beach, take a dip in a cool water filled swimming pool and wear short clothes. There are certain factors of the season which do not go down very well with the skin. Like every season the summer season has its set off advantages and disadvantages on the way our skin reacts to the condition. So let’s have a closer look at the disadvantages and what effects extreme exposure to the sun can have on our facial skin and skin in general.

In General:

The heat of the sun in summer months robs the skin of essential nutrients. It causes individuals to sweat more and leads to excess production of body generated oil. This oil further adds up with dry skin and dirt particles to clog skin pores, which leads to the formation of skin allergies and ACNE.

UV Rays:

As we know the sun emits ultra violet rays of two types UVA and UVB. The UVB rays hit the outer surface of the skin to form blemishes, burns and in sun spots. Alternatively the UVA rays penetrate deeper within the skin to tan it and causes wrinkles and sagging of the skin.

Heat of the Sun:

Extreme heat generated from the sun is also referred to as the infra red effect. This very effect of the infra red can affects the body’s immunity and also contributes towards the skin losing its elasticity.

Premature Ageing:

Extreme exposure to the sun without protection can lead to the skin developing fine lines, getting discolored and developing an uneven texture. The above discussion is more applicable to the equatorial regions where people have longer durations of exposure to the sun all year round. However observing caution can only be a good thing, enjoying the summer break and simultaneously maintaining healthy skin should be the objective.

Summer Break Skin Protection Tips:

  • Avoid traveling too much during the peak afternoon hours
  • Drink a lot of water to restore hydration to the body and eventually the skin
  • Cover yourself adequately, clothes made out of thin texture and a hat for example can provide a lot of protection.  Plus it does push up the style factor
  • Don’t overdo the sun tan
  • With summer comes the chance to enter the swimming pool, it is very recommended to clean your body with a good rinse of fresh water once you have completed the swimming session.
  • This is a point which I mention in all my articles, eat healthy food. Foods rich in healthy fats, proteins, vitamins and fiber should be high up on the menu. Your daily menu should include Fruits, Green Vegetables, Yogurt etc.
  • Finally most essential look after your skin. Choose recommended products which are safe to use and have properties to defend your skin against the harshness of the sun.

Following are some Products we very strongly recommend for your Summer Break this year:

This product is highly recommended as it contains and is made up of elements directly sourced from nature. Yes the product is made out of Fresh Vitamin Leaves directly supplied from Taebaek Mountains, Byeong-Pung Village, KR. The usage of this product leads to skin appearing bright, radiant and vibrant. The mask is known to sooth skin and reduces skin allergies in the summer months significantly. The water-gel within the mask serves as a natural skin detox and this is one product which I very strongly recommend once again for all its goodness.

Skinmiso Pore Corset Serum:

The Skinmiso Pore Corset Serum is ideally suited to caring for skin pores. The product seeps deep within the skin to clear sebum and dry skin. This process in medical terms is referred to as exfoliation. The regular use of this product will see the skin improving on elasticity. The product helps reduce the size of the skin pores to make the skin appear young and fresh.

Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream:

The cream is a multi-user product as is suited to all types of skin both normal and dry. This is a very concentrated hydrating cream which helps nourish facial skin from deep within. The product is formulated with yeast derived beta glucan which improves on the natural defences of facial skin and the ability of the skin cells to heal naturally by themselves. This cream from Klairs would be an ideal product to be used before you sleep at night. Not many people are aware that caring for the skin in a sun-conscious state or when sleeping can do wonders towards improving overall skin health.
