Men’s aging starts later than that of a women’s, but men’s thick skin layer is in need of more energy. That’s why men have more excess sebum, they sweat more, so their pores enlarge. Plus, if you smoke and drink and have an unhealthy life style, pores will enlarge more and it will fasten your skin’s aging.

The key step to making sure that your pores do not enlarge, is cleansing. So let me tell you how to reduce pore size for men.

How to:

Before cleansing, make sure that you clean your hands thoroughly.

  1. Use a steam towel to open up your pores
(Wet and ring-out a wash cloth, microwave it for 10 sec, place it over the face for around 30 sec to open pores)
  2. With luck warm water, wash your face with a cleansing foam
(Make sure you are using a face soap or a foam cleanser)

After cleansing, make sure to moisturize your skin with your skin care products.

Men in their teens

(Usually your skin will look oily on the outer layer but it will actually be dehydrated)

You can have many skin trouble in your teens. It’s important that you keep your skin always clean so cleansing is very important. If you use sebum control products, it can help you a lot or it’s good to use products for troubled, acne prone skin. This will help with dehydrated skin, pores and your sebum.

Men in their 20’s

Smoking and Drinking habits can be the cause of your pores enlarging and wrinkles forming.
Men have a thick skin layer and because of frequent shaving, moisture flies away from their skin. So, it is necessary to put on moisturizing cream along with toner and lotion. It’s also good to use skin care product that controls your sebum.
