Are you like me?
Acne Prone? Sensitive? Scar easily? If so, then you might also always feel like you are on the hunt for the perfect cream to fade acne scars and reduce pimples. I know I am and it has taken me quite a lot of years to find products that work for my difficult skin type.
So today I am sharing my full experience with a product called Badecasil Cream 7 in 1 by 23YearsOld.
A product designed to fight against pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, flaking dry skin as well as fade acne scars and reduce wrinkles! Amazing right?! After carefully reading through the ingredients list of this “miracle” product, I decided I would give it a short and review it for everyone!
The 23YearsOld Badecasil Cream 7 in 1 claims to be am all in 1 skin perfecting products that:
+ Maintains Optimal Moisture Balance
+ Provides and excellent moisture drink for the skin
+ Made with Jeju Carbon Thermal Water which is great for sensitive skin
+ Works will ALL skin types
+ Reduces the appearance of pigmentation and acne scars
+ Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
+ Create soft smooth skin
That is a lot of skin benefits! But does it really hold up to all it claims?
This was a question I was really looking forward to finding out as I tend to need everything this product claims to provide.
The 23YearsOld Badecasil Cream 7 in 1 used to come in a plastic tub container with a screw off lid, but they recently updated their packaging to be more hygienic to prevent the product for going rancid through contamination. This was something I was very excited to see as I am someone who would be very disappointed if a product with such great benefits no longer worked.
The new tube is a classic medical tube design that requires puncturing to unseal the product. Making sure it is fresh right at first use. However this product is fairly small in size in comparison to other cheaper alternatives. The 23YearsOld Badecasil Cream 7 in 1 only contains 30g of product for a cost of $23. Which can seem a little on the pricey side for some people. Is it truly worth it? Lets find out!
This is what really drew me in to this product. The ingredients of it where everything I was looking for in a chemical exfoliating ace scar healing product. My main interest being the high percentage of Glycolic Acid at a total of 4%. I have previously used 8% in the past and it was a miracle product for curing my acne scars!
The Badecasil Cream 7 in 1 contains the following ingredients:
Water,Butylene Glycol, Onsen-Sui, Glycolic Acid, Pentylene Glycol, Cetyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Betaine Salicylate, Beeswax, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate,Glyceryl Stearate SE, Potassium Hydroxide, Cyclohexasiloxane, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Dimethicone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Disodium EDTA, Bacopa Monniera Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Bark/Leaf/Twig Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Xanthan Gum,Allantoin, Panthenol
It contains high amounts of skin exfoliating ingredients. My main favorites being of course Glycolic Acid and along side that, Betaine Salicylate which has recently been becoming popular in the Korean skincare market for skin smoothing and brightening.
Not only are those my favorite exfoliating products, but it also contains Skin soothing ingredients such as oils and plant extracts which personally work well with my skin.
TEXTURE & APPLICATION
The cream has a fairly thick consistency that spreads easily over the skin and works well layered overtop of other skincare products. However in my skincare routine, I like to use this before any thicker products since it is an active ingredient, I want it to be one of the 1st products applied after cleaning and toning.
Because it is a 4% gycolic acid, this cream gives a brief tingling sensation when freshly applied to the face if you are more on the sensitive side. Not to worry though, this is natural with active ingredients such as glycolic acid. I look at this reaction as a sign that it is working! However if the tingling becomes painful or does not stop tingling after several minutes, wash off the product or try mixing it with another cream to dilute it until your skin can adjust to glycolic acid.
I have been using this product for only 2.5 weeks. I recently had a terrible acne pimple break out from a foundation. My pimples left me a few red marks and acne scars which I was very unhappy about. However it was the perfect moment to test out this new cream for acne scars!
In just one night, my pimples I still had started to shrink which was amazing! So I made sure to take a before photo before going to bed.
In only 2 weeks, my pimples went flat and my acne scars significantly faded away!
Not only did it work amazing at getting rid of acne scars, but it also kept my skin well moisturized so I had no skin irritation, dryness or flaking!
In fact, I loved this product so much, I bought myself a back up!
I honestly can say the 23YearsOld Badecasil Cream 7 in 1 has become a new holy grail acne scar fading product in my skincare routine.
I HIGHLY RECOMMENED it to anyone suffering from dry sensitive acne prone skin that has acne scars.
