THE DIY SPA ALTERNATIVE NIGHT TREATMENT

Sometimes the physical and mental stress of daily life can really take its toll on the skin. A relaxing trip to a local spa provides a great way for escaping the busy lifestyles and indulging in some personal time. The benefits of regularly going to a spa helps to relax, recharge, detox and beautify the skin. If you’re nervous about going to the spa for the first time or it seems like a luxury splurge, then you will love this spa alternative night treatment routine!

What you will need:

Step 1: Remove all make-up and apply to your face a gentle cleanser of your choice (I use Lancôme Crème Radiance). As your cleansing, massage the four areas of your face (cheeks, forehead, chin) using outward strokes of motion.

Step 2: Gently rinse off the cleanser using lukewarm water and pat-dry your face with a towel or facial sponge.

Step 3: Apply a generous amount of the SKIN & LAB Dr. Pore Tightening Glacial Clay Facial Mask to your face and neck while massaging gently for 1 to 2 minutes. Due to the nature of this product, you may feel minor twitches of pain upon application as the mask sets into effect. This lasts only momentarily and will gradually subside. (Tip: Placing the SKIN & LAB Dr. Pore Tightening Glacial Clay Facial Mask in the fridge before use can promote better contraction and calming effects thru the application process.)

Step 4: Let the formula sit on your face for 10 to 20 minutes. During this stage you can read a book, watch some TV, have a snack break, listen to some music or engage in any other activity that will help you to relax.

Step 5: After 10 to 20 minutes have passed, massage the area of your T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) to exfoliate and lift any dirt clogging pores from your skin.

Step 6: Rinse your face thoroughly using lukewarm water and pat-dry your face with a towel or facial sponge again. You should see a difference in the complexion and texture of your face. At this point your face should appear brighter with a little bit of luster and a tingly clean sensation.

Step 7: Un-pack the KLAIRS Rich Moist Soothing Mask and spread it properly over your face. Let the mask sit for 10 to 15 minutes, for a generous amount of essence to be absorbed deep into your skin. At this stage, it is important to keep your face relaxed and facial expressions to a minimal. You may want to lie on the coach or on your bed with some music or just rest in total silence. This is a great point of the process to gather your thoughts and reflect.

Step 8: After 10 to 15 minutes, remove the mask and pat your face for the remaining essence to be absorbed. You may also take your facial sponge, run it through lukewarm water, and gently pat it across your face for a clean finish.

Step 9: Now that your skin has been cleansed, purified, exfoliated, and balanced, it’s time to end the routine with an overnight repairing cream. Since I like to keep things light I’ve selected the ELISHACOY Skin Repairing Snail Cream. Apply a generous amount of the cream to your entire face before bed for a fully rejuvenated complexion in the morning. The benefits of snail cream have done wonders for my skin! Since the skin recharges during our sleep, I find that it is best to complete this spa alternative routine with a snail cream to give the overall process a boosting effect!

For those who have oily and acne prone skin it is highly recommended to perform this routine 2 to 3 times a week for best results.
