It’s Bronwyn here again today with another in-depth review.. YAY!
Lately I have been posting lots of reviews on products with active ingredient that are excellent for clearing acne, fighting post acne scars and all around anti-aging.
It has been a while since I have done a review on a moisturizing product, let alone a night cream. So today, I will be introducing to your a product I have thoroughly been loving for the past 3 weeks!
The Skinmiso Pore Zero Night Cream, most definitely the best night cream for dry skin…especially dry acne prone skin!
Let’s just hop right into it!
Why Use Night Cream?
Your not using night cream?! You may be thinking that night cream is for your mother or even grandmother. But let me tell you, night cream is essential in your skincare routine as soon as you become 20 or as soon as your realize you have a dry skin type. If you have dry skin, night cream can be a life saver. If your in your early 20’s night cream is the perfect start to your anti-aging care. But why night cream?
Night time is the optimal time when our skin goes into recovery mode. This is when your skin naturally started to repair itself from the tough day it just had. This time generally starts around 10pm. This is the best time to make sure you have on a night cream and if possible, are sleeping. But lets face it, going to bed at 10pm is beyond impossible!
Which is what makes night creams even more essential to us late nighters.
Night creams are specifically designed to help your skin repair itself, providing intense nutrition, deep hydration and rich moisture at the most important time.
Once you start using a night cream, you will understand why they are so important for your dry skin or anyone’s skin in their early 20’s.
Pore Zero For Dry Skin?
Yes! This is the best night cream for dry skin. Personally, I have acne prone dry skin. Meaning I easily break out yet my skin is always dry if I don’t care for it right. Oh and how could I forget, I also am quite sensitive.
When I first was going to start testing the Pore Zero Night Cream, I was honestly a bit concerned since my skin is dry. I thought this cream would be more tailored to managing oily skin like most of the Skinmiso line is. But to my surprise, it was able to provide my dry acne prone skin with the perfect amount of moisture it needed. Plus the ingredients were very much so to my liking!
IngredientsWater, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Squalane, Butylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Arbutin,Stearic Acid, Octyldodecanol, Caprylic/Capric/Myristic/Stearic Triglyceride, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Steareth-2, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Piper Methysticum Leaf/Root/Stem Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Arginine, Xanthan Gum, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Phytosphingosine, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Disodium EDTA, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Adenosine, BHT, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Melissa Officinalis Extract, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Extract, Chlorphenesin
When I opened the product, I felt a bit shocked at how thick the cream was. Because this cream was for dry skin with large pores, I was under the impression it would have a rich but fluffy texture. Instead the texture was very very thick, like coconut oil that has solidified! Of course with my acne prone skin, I was super concerned this could clog my pores, but it is Skinmiso, so I had faith!
When I applied it to my skin, the cream instantly had a melting effect that spread very easily over the ski. It also had a slight cooling feeling that was very soothing and refreshing! The scent was also very calming like a herbal scent that wasn’t too strong. I was a fan of the scent.
At this time of my first use, I was having a breakout from a foundation I tested on my blog, so I was excited to see how this soothing cream would effect my red and inflamed skin. I was quite pleased! In just 1 hour, my skin felt very calm and the inflammation in my pimples started to diminish. The next morning, my pimples appeared less red and irritated as well as reduced in size.
I continued to use this cream every night. In the mornings I would consistently wake up with plump skin that felt full of moisture and hydration. I had no dry patches and even better, I had no additional breakouts!
For me, this truly is the best night cream for dry skin as well as dry acne prone skin!
It is calming and soothing, it tightens the pores by providing rich hydration and moisture and helps fight against future breakouts.
If your looking for the best night cream for dry skin that is acne prone, then I highly recommend you give this a shot. A little goes a long way and it really makes your skin feel and look great the next morning.
I feel this is a great night cream for the summer time since it doesn’t make the skin oily at all. A really pleasant night cream. I had no issues and most certainly have no complains.
Skinmiso always seems to do things right!
Highly recommended. Definitely the best night cream for dry skin that is acne prone. Thick texture that easily melts into the skin. Light herbal scent, cooling effect, deep hydration and moisture, not oily and very calming and soothing. Good on my sensitive acne prone dry skin.
